Well this post took longer than expected. Sorting the helpful from all the hype was tough. Yes.

But even more so because the AI world changed three times while I was making this.

Veo blinked into existence. Kling surprised everyone. Claude got smarter. And I got tired.

Anyway, here's a simple beginner's guide to AI tools for those who've been told AI can change their life but haven’t had time to figure out how.

Chatbots, design tools, note-takers, music bots, and even offline options —researched & reviewed so you don't have to.

branding isn’t just for startups with huge fundings and mountains of code.

it’s also for freelancers, shop owners, consultants, and the batty cat-lady who sells homemade pickles but still uses “hey 👋” as their bio.

this here’s my 10 cents for anyone who wants to build trust and not just vibes.

If you’re like me — if you’ve said yes too many times to things that felt like obligation or noise — then you probably know this feeling well.

This post started off as a clean little idea about “slow living.” But now I’m just thinking about everything I’ve traded time for — and whether it was worth it.

Richard Buckminster Fuller once wrote:
“The true business of people should be to go back to school & think about whatever it was they were thinking about before somebody came along & told them they had to earn a living.”

And that’s been sitting with me.

Maybe slow living isn’t about doing less. Maybe it’s about protecting the real things we were meant to build before we got too busy performing... usefulness.

I’m learning (slowly) to say “no.”
To meetings, to distractions, to urgency theatre.

Not because I don’t want to be helpful —
But because I’m tired of betraying my own time.
